Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) issued the following statement today announcing his opposition to the $1 trillion omnibus spending bill:

“I oppose and will be voting against this $1 trillion omnibus spending bill. This is yet another example of why the Senate needs to end the filibuster abuse. When you take President Trump’s veto pen away and give it Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, this is what you end up with.”
