Babin Reacts to Biden’s State of the Union Address
Washington,
March 2, 2022
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s State of the Union address: “Biden’s State of the Union was predictably tone-deaf, just like the first year of his presidency,” said Babin. “Hard-working Americans have been forced to deal with one self-inflicted crisis after another because of this president’s America-last agenda. “From surging crime, rising prices, open borders, worker shortages, and foreign policy disasters, America is less safe, less secure, and less prosperous. “What Biden should have said last night was, ‘I’m sorry,’ to the American people and to all of those who look to our country for strength and leadership. “He is doing everything in his power to weaken our nation even though, as Commander in Chief, he has sworn to do the very opposite. To say that Americans deserve better is a drastic understatement.” ### |
