Babin to Lead Border Security Caucus Congressional Delegation to Southern Border

House members to assess Biden’s border crisis in El Paso, TX

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) announced he will lead a Border Security Caucus Congressional Delegation trip to the southern border on Monday, May 24, 2021, to assess President Biden’s border crisis in El Paso, Texas.

The following members will be joining Babin:

•           Rep. Morgan Griffith (VA-09)

•           Rep. Debbie Lesko (AZ-08)

•           Rep. Mike Garcia (CA-25)

•           Rep. Steven Palazzo (MS-04)

•           Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02)

•           Rep. Tom McClintock (CA-04)

•           Rep. John “Judge” Carter (TX-31)

•           Rep. Jim Hagedorn (MN-01)

•           Rep. Garret Graves (LA-06)

•           Rep. Yvette Herrell (NM-02)

Members will visit the Fort Bliss Emergency Intake Site and tour the Port of Entry, the Central Processing Center, and portions of the border wall with U.S. Border Patrol officials.

A press conference will be held along the border at approximately 2:00 PM Mountain Time to discuss President Biden's border crisis.
