WOODVILLE, TX – U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) issued the following statement in support of President Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

“Judge Amy Coney Barrett is an extremely qualified jurist and another wise nomination made by our Commander in Chief,” said Babin. “I have no doubt she will serve our country admirably as an Associate Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

“President Trump has fulfilled his Constitutional duty, now the Senate must do the same and confirm her as soon as possible. I’m praying for strength and perseverance for Judge Barrett and her family during the coming days and weeks and look forward to seeing her take her well-deserved seat on our nation’s highest court.”
