Babin Requests Swift Action for Beaumont VA Clinic

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) released the following statement after sending a letter to President Donald Trump and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary, Robert Wilkie, requesting that the Major Lease agreement process for the Beaumont, Texas Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC) be expedited and given swift approval.

“For too long have the patients receiving care at the Beaumont CBOC been subjected to less-than-adequate health care services due to circumstances outside of the local VA control,” said Babin. “As a Member of Congress, the son of a World War II veteran, a veteran myself, the father of a decorated Navy SEAL, and a health care provider, I believe ensuring quality health care, as well as continuity of care, for our nation’s veterans is of the utmost importance.

“My office and I will always work to support local VA administrators and officials who work tirelessly to serve those who have served us.”
