Babin and Weber to Hold U.S. Service Academy and ROTC Forum

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressmen Brian Babin (TX-36) and Randy Weber (TX-14) invite all interested 8-12th grade students, parents, guardians, and educators to attend their upcoming Service Academy and ROTC Forum on September 14 at the Hardin-Jefferson High School Cafeteria from 3:00pm–5:00pmCT. Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy will present information about the academy application process and the role of an officer in our military. The Academies are some of the top colleges in the country and prepare students for professional military careers. Those present will also have the opportunity to visit with members of Congressman Babin’s and Congressman Weber’s staff about the nominations process.
