U.S. Representative Brian Babin (TX-36) applauded today’s passage of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) conference report in the House:

“With countless threats around the world, it is crucial for Congress to provide the funds necessary to ensure that our military is able and ready to face whatever comes its way. While there is still work to be done, the 2019 NDAA is a step in the right direction. It contains $708.1 billion to support military readiness and combat global terrorism, and it gives our troops with their largest pay raise in nine years. By funding these priorities, we are providing our brave service men and women with the resources and support they need to carry out their mission. I look forward to President Trump signing this important bill into law."
