U.S. Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) released the following statement after the House passed H. Res. 990, a resolution co-sponsored by Rep. Babin that supports the officers and personnel of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE):

“Today the House passed H. Res. 990 to express our support for the critical work of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and denounce the efforts by radical left wing politicians and activists to abolish it. The brave men and women of ICE put their lives on the line every day to protect Americans from dangerous terrorists, gang members, sex traffickers and drug kingpins who shouldn’t be in our country in the first place. I was proud to co-sponsor this resolution, and I stand committed to making sure that those who protect our borders receive the support that they deserve.
