Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) voted in favor of a clean continuing resolution (CR) to ensure the federal government remains open while Republicans continue working to implement President Donald Trump’s agenda.

“While Democrats are busy campaigning for a government shutdown, House Republicans are focused on keeping the government running and delivering for the American people,” said Rep. Babin. “This clean CR freezes spending, prevents wasteful Democrat priorities, and allows us to stay laser-focused on securing our border, draining the swamp, and putting America first.”
