Despite 40 years of increased federal involvement in our classrooms, federal regulators are essentially coercing local schools to adopt national “Common Core” education standards. I've voted to block "Common Core" to ensure states can withdraw from this broken, one-size-fits-all approach.  

As most students in Texas returned to school this week, I'd like to get your thoughts on this important issue.
