WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) issued the following statement about the signing of the Abraham Accords – a series of peace agreements among Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain. 

“The Trump Administration’s tireless efforts to stabilize the Middle East have led to unprecedented and historic agreements between Israel, the only true democracy in the region, and Bahrain and the UAE,” said Babin. “The Abraham Accords will strengthen diplomatic relations and promote peace in one of the most volatile regions of the world. The positive impact of these agreements goes beyond borders and will undoubtedly be felt around the globe.

“President Trump’s commitment to lasting peace and security has earned him a much-deserved nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, and I’m incredibly proud of our Commander in Chief.”
