We had to defeat Senator Schumer's "government shut down and DACA before disaster relief" demands. This bill gives tens of billions of dollars in much needed assistance to Texans still recovering from Hurricane Harvey. |
House Passed Bill to Protect Young Victims from Sexual Abuse

We took an important step forward this week as Congress passed bipartisan legislation to protect young athletes from sexual abuse. The unreported abuse these young women athletes endured is sickening and inexcusable. This bill requires amateur athletic governing bodies to immediately report sexual abuse allegations so that law enforcement may begin to investigate.

FISA Memo Update |
The FISA memo released last week demonstrates that individuals within the FBI and Justice Department absolutely abused their power and the public trust. Appointing a special counsel to investigate these wrongdoings is a necessary first step in bringing those responsible to justice and restoring the integrity of the FBI and Justice Department.
