It's Time to Acquit President Trump |
The American people can finally see the light at the end of the long, dark, partisan tunnel of impeachment. On Friday, the Senate decided that the 17 witnesses, chosen by Rep. Adam Schiff, and the 28,000-plus pages of documents already in evidence are sufficient to judge the House Managers’ accusations and end this impeachment trial.
Democrats complained about not being allowed to call new witnesses, but they should remember that it was Rep. Adam Schiff's decision to only call 17 witnesses. He chose not to fully pursue any other witnesses to include in this record. It is not the Senate's job to go on a fishing expedition for new witnesses. He made this decision.
Now, the Senate has made theirs. It's time to acquit President Trump and get back to the work of the American people.

Babin Responds to CNN Host Mocking Accents of Trump Supporters |
I was more than happy to join Trish Regan on Fox Business Wednesday night to respond to CNN host, Don Lemon, recently mocking Trump supporters with southern accents. No wonder CNN's ratings continue to drop.
I speak with a southern accent, and I'm extremely proud to be representing Southeast Texas where we love our Bible, our guns, and our President. Listen below!

The USMCA Has Been Signed into Law |
After more than a year of hard work to push this incredible trade agreement, the USMCA has officially been signed into law! Trade with Mexico and Canada supports more than 114,000 jobs in Texas and 12 million nationwide, making this updated agreement crucial to the success of our economy. I’m proud to report that the USMCA is an enormous win for U.S. farmers, businesses, workers, and families.
This historic agreement will create 176,000 new American jobs and generate $68 billion in economic growth. President Trump has delivered on another promise, and there’s no doubt that the USMCA will make our nation and its people thrive.

President Trump Strengthens America's Relationship with Israel |
President Trump continues to strengthen America’s relationship with Israel, and most importantly, work for peace in the Middle East region. Meanwhile, Democrats continue their pursuit of impeachment.
One side is clearly only concerned with politics – the other about keeping promises.

Preventing the Spread of the Coronavirus |
In light of the increasing threat of the coronavirus and potential for a pandemic, I sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar earlier this week urging the Administration to take every precaution necessary to ensure the protection of American citizens – including possibly shutting down air travel to the U.S. from China.

Adam Schiff Lies Again |
President Trump NEVER spoke these words... not one time. We even have the transcript from the July 25th phone call to prove it. Rep. Adam Schiff and his impeachment managers are attempting to remove Trump based on assumptions, hearsay, and lies!
DON'T FALL FOR IT.

May We Never Forget the Holocaust |
Monday marked 75 years since the Nazi Concentration Camp Auschwitz was liberated. I had the honor of traveling to Auschwitz in 2018, and I will never forget how solemn it was to walk the grounds where so many had suffered.
Meet 93-year-old Holocaust survivor, Eddie Mosberg (pictured above). Eddie survived several Nazi concentration camps and lost his parents and sister at Auschwitz. He took us through Auschwitz and told us many stories.

Our group standing beneath the infamous gate and sign to Auschwitz. It reads "Arbeit Macht Frei," which roughly translates to "Work Sets You Free." |

Schiff's Case Was Never Based on Facts |
Over the past week, the President’s defense has done nothing BUT defend the actual FACTS:
1. The July 25th call transcript shows no quid pro quo;
2. Presidents Trump and Zelensky said no quid pro quo;
3. Ukrainians weren’t aware the aid was being withheld at the
time of the call; and
4. Ukraine received aid – without meeting any conditions or
announcing investigations to do so.
Schiff's charade has always been based on ZERO facts.

Speaking at the Vidor Chamber of Commerce |
I flew home from Washington on Thursday evening and drove straight to Vidor to speak at their Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
After a week immersed in "the swamp," I was glad to end the night visiting with fellow Texans.

Let's Be Clear |
Just so we are clear:
1. House Democrats raced to pass impeachment articles at a historic and completely self-determined pace, claiming it was a "national emergency."
2. Speaker Pelosi allowed the "urgent" articles to sit in the House for 33 days before sending them to the Senate.
3. House Democrats then wanted the Senate to dig further into the very case they've already deemed to be "infallible."

Congratulating Axiom Space |
Congratulations, Axiom Space! This is not only a win for Texas, Johnson Space Center, and the International Space Station, it is also a great step forward for NASA as we move towards an increased commercial presence in low-Earth orbit.
I am proud to see this work coming to Space City – Houston, Texas – as the Lone Star State continues to lead in space exploration well into the future. |
Zoe Lofgren said it best in 1998 |
I could not have said it any better than Democrat Impeachment Manager Zoe Lofgren did in 1998. House Democrats continue their endless pursuit to overturn the 2016 election because they STILL cannot accept the result.
They don’t trust the American people to choose the "right" leader this year, so they're trying to remove Donald Trump from the ballot.

NASA's Day of Remembrance |
Thursday marked NASA’s Day of Remembrance, a day to honor all of the brave men and women who gave their lives in pursuit of space exploration.

Apollo 1 astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee lost their lives on January 27, 1967. |
We owe the crew members of Apollo 1, Challenger, Columbia, and all those lost our deepest gratitude and respect for their courage and sacrifice. America’s legacy in space has been extraordinary, and it is because of these heroes.

Space Shuttle Challenger crew members Dick Scobee, Michael Smith, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Greg Jarvis, Judith Resnik, and teacher Christa McAuliffe lost their lives on January 28, 1986. |
May their stories continue to inspire us to keep pushing the boundaries of space.

Space Shuttle Columbia crew members Rick Husband, William McCool, Michael Anderson, David Brown, Ilan Ramon, Kalpana Chawla, and Laurel Clark lost their lives on February 1, 2003. |

Remembering Kobe and Gianna Bryant |
The deaths of Kobe and Gianna Bryant and their companions on that helicopter is absolutely heartbreaking. Our nation has lost a sports icon that history will never forget.
Last Sunday was a very real reminder that life is a precious gift from God, and my most sincere prayers remain with the Bryant family and all others who lost loved ones in this terrible accident.

May We Never Forget the Holocaust (cont'd) |
I pray we never forget the victims, and be forever mindful in our commitment to standing up against such evil around the world.

Sitting in front of the original piano at the Warsaw Zoo – you might recognize it if you've seen the film, "The Zookeeper's Wife." The owners of the zoo, Jan and Antonina Zabinski, smuggled hundreds of Jews out of German-occupied Poland during WWII. Mrs. Zabinski would play the piano to let the hidden Jews know when Nazis were near. I was allowed to play a song for the group – what a memory!
