| Working to Ensure the Delbert Atkinson Post Office Situation Is Resolved |
The Delbert Atkinson Post Office in Pasadena, Texas, has faced severe challenges. Between the devastation from the 2023 tornado and the damage inflicted by Hurricane Beryl, this crucial facility has been struggling to get back on its feet. The folks of Pasadena, who depend on this post office for essential services, have been waiting far too long for answers and action.
My staff and I have reached out countless times to USPS leadership for updates, repairs, and a clear plan forward – yet we have received nothing in return but excuses and, now, silence. This lack of response and accountability is entirely unacceptable. The people of Pasadena have been patient, but their patience – and mine – is running thin.
The Postal Service owes it to these Texans to step up and do its job – deliver timely service and restore full functionality to this post office. I will continue pressing the USPS until they provide the answers our community deserves and take action to get things running again.
I will not let bureaucratic delays prevent Pasadena from returning to normal. I will continue fighting to resolve this issue.

Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy will present information about their academy application process, attending a service academy, and the role of an officer.
