We have brought together a team of experts to help answer questions about accessing VA health care and education benefits, navigating the claims process, determining discharge status, transitioning into civilian life and much more. Rep. Babin Discusses His Efforts to Pause Refugee Program from Terrorist Hotbeds

I recently spoke with One America News Network about my efforts to put an end to this absolutely reckless, dangerous refugee resettlement program. When I raised my right hand, I took an oath to protect the national security and safety of my constituents and that's exactly what I am determined to do.
It’s terrifying that President Obama is unmoved by the fact that his own Director of the FBI, Security of Homeland Secretary and Director of National Intelligence have all said that they cannot properly screen Syrian refugees. We simply cannot trust the same DHS to adequately screen refugees that recently mistakenly granted U.S. citizenship to nearly 2,000 individuals from countries known as hotbeds of terror.

I was in West Texas this week to watch the successful launch of privately-funded aerospace company Blue Origin's New Shepard suborbital vehicle. This was a major step forward in making space tourism a reality!

| Honoring La Porte ISD and Local Gold Medalist Kerron Clement |
Our Regional Director of Community Relations, Beverly Ferguson, attended La Porte ISD’s 100th Anniversary Celebration where she presented U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Kerron Clement of La Porte, Texas with a Congressional Certificate and flag flown over the U.S. Capitol on the same day he won the 400-meter hurdles at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Beverly also presented La Porte ISD with a Congressional Record statement celebrating their 100th anniversary. To view more pictures from the event, click here.
