 President Trump Has Been Acquitted
The Senate has reviewed the two impeachment articles and evidence sent from the House of Representatives, and after a year of wasted time and taxpayer dollars they have confirmed what we’ve known all along: President Trump is innocent.
On Wednesday, the majority of my Senate colleagues voted to uphold the Constitution and finally close the dark door on this sham impeachment. Justice has prevailed. Now, let’s get back to the work of the American people.

Another Terrorist Leader Killed by President Trump
President Trump has taken out yet another terrorist – making America and the world a safer and better place.

Qasim al-Rimi, founding member and leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, and his followers have learned the hard way that America’s leader will not hesitate in destroying those who seek to do us harm.

A Visit with an Honored Guest
General Thomas Stafford, commander of the Apollo 10 mission to the Moon, stopped by the office this week to visit about our space program and landing Americans on the lunar surface once again.
During Apollo 10, which served as a "dress rehearsal" for the first Moon landing, General Stafford and his crew flew within 20 miles from the lunar surface. General Stafford is a true pioneer in space exploration and has contributed greatly to America's ability to lead the world in space. Thank you for your continued leadership!

 Honoring Deputy Richard Whitten
It was a privilege to honor the life and service of Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy Richard Whitten on the House floor Thursday night. Deputy Whitten was an upstanding man who paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect the citizens of his community.

He is a true American hero and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Speaker Pelosi's Disgraceful Actions
The President's State of the Union (SOTU) address was about American war heroes, American workers, and American families.

Speaker Pelosi's actions were absolutely disgraceful. She dishonored the dignity of a joint session of Congress.

The National Prayer Breakfast
It was wonderful having Will and Joy Crenshaw as well as Pastor Garrett Booth from Houston's Grace Church as my guests at the National Prayer Breakfast this week.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Rep. Tim Walberg (MI-07), Rep. Phil Roe (TN-01), Rep. Collin Peterson (MN-07), House Chaplain Patrick Conroy, and I had the opportunity to play and sing Hank Williams' "I Saw the Light."

Meeting WWII Veteran Charles Cody
It was an extreme honor to present an American flag, that I had flown over the U.S. Capitol, to 95-year-old WWII veteran, Charles Cody yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Cody's story is nothing short of amazing. On December 7, 1941, Charles Cody was aboard the U.S.S. Arizona at port in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. When the Battleship Arizona was hit by a Japanese torpedo, Mr. Cody was miraculously able to swim safely to shore where he immediately started to care for his fellow sailors. The U.S.S. Arizona sank soon after being hit, taking down more than 1,100 officers and crewmen.
Mr. Cody went on to serve in the Pacific Theater until WWII came to an end. As a veteran myself, I am always incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to thank America's veterans, especially those who served in WWII.
Mr. Cody belongs to one of the greatest generations of men and is a true American patriot.
 Welcome Home Christina Koch
After the longest single spaceflight of any woman, a monumental all-woman spacewalk, and hundreds of experiments aboard the International Space Station, U.S. astronaut Christina Koch has returned safely to Earth. Welcome home, Christina!
 Appreciating Rush Limbaugh
I’ve been listening to The Rush Limbaugh Show since it was nationally syndicated in 1988 as the first conservative alternative to the liberal mainstream media. There were several early spokesmen for the conservative movement, like William F. Buckley, but no one with the audience and following of Rush.

His intellect, wit, and gift of articulation remains unmatched. He tells the truth and explains why. Being in attendance while Rush received the Presidential Medal of Freedom was extremely special.

I know that my family and I as well as millions of his listeners will be lifting him up in our thoughts and prayers for a complete and total healing. Thank you for all of these great years, Rush. Get well soon and keep spreading the conservative word. America needs you.
