The Truth That Democrats Forget |
Democrats forget: The President does not serve at the pleasure of the United States Congress. He serves at the pleasure of the American people, and that is exactly what he’s doing.
The cards were stacked against Trump from day one. In fact, 44% of House Democrats voted to impeach him BEFORE this shameful probe even started.

House Passes FY20 NDAA |
Wednesday night, the House passed the FY20 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) in bipartisan fashion. This bill was far from perfect, but I am proud of the provisions that Republicans were able to secure defense funding for:
✅ Pay raise for our Armed Forces
✅ Rebuilding our military
✅ Border security
✅ Space Force |
Fastest Impeachment, Smallest Amount of Evidence |
The Democrat majority cares more about impeaching the President in record time than having ANY real evidence to do so. They have been vowing to remove him from the minute he took office and have focused on nothing else since they took the majority in January. In the meantime, we have not secured the border, lowered prescription drug prices, or passed the USMCA.
Can we get back to governing now please?

Texas Delegation Urges Passage of the USMCA |
The USMCA will create thousands of new American jobs and generate billions in economic growth. No other state will benefit more from this bill than the great state of Texas.
This agreement will not only strengthen America’s relationship with Canada and Mexico, but also significantly push our nation forward. Congress must pass the USMCA now, before the 2019 session ends.

Potential Consequences of H.R. 3 |
My friend, Congressman Ron Wright (TX-06), shared his amazing story earlier this week – making the ramifications of H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, all too real. We cannot allow this bill, that will kill innovation and choice, to become law. Because I care about passing REAL solutions to help the American people, I voted no on this legislation.

Vulnerable Democrats Fear Impeachment Vote |
House Democrats from Trump Country realize they are falling into a deep hole with the upcoming impeachment vote. They know the Schiff/Nadler “case” will CRUMBLE in the Senate – which isn’t surprising since this probe is built entirely off hearsay rather than facts.

Combatting Anti-Semitism on College Campuses |
Anti-Semitism has no place in America. President Trump’s executive order on Thursday afternoon places much needed responsibility on U.S. college campuses and will help combat anti-Semitism across the nation.

Senator Cruz Questions Inspector General Horowitz on FISA Report |
Senator Ted Cruz was very clear: "A lawyer at the FBI creates fraudulent evidence, alters an email, that is in turn used as the basis for a sworn statement to the court – that the court relies on. Am I stating that accurately?"
IG Horowitz: "That’s correct. That is what occurred."

Discussing the Southern Border with Tom Homan |
We had the opportunity to hear from Tom Homan, former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), on Tuesday during our monthly House Border Security Caucus meeting. Tom has spent his entire career fighting to end illegal immigration, secure our nation's borders, and make America safer.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of meeting Libya Ambassador to the U.S., Wafa Bughaighis, who has served her nation in the United States since 2014. I enjoyed getting to know her and discussing America's role in fostering peace in Libya and the Mediterranean region.
