Babin Votes to Support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents |

The House passed H. Res. 990 to express our support for the critical work of ICE, and to denounce the efforts by radical left-wing politicians and activists to abolish it. The brave men and women of ICE put their lives on the line every day to protect Americans from dangerous terrorists, gang members, sex traffickers and drug kingpins who shouldn’t be in our country in the first place. I was proud to cosponsor and vote to support these good Americans. I stand committed to making sure that those who protect our borders receive the support that they deserve.

| Americans are Better Off Because of Tax Cuts |

✓ Nearly 2 million new jobs.
✓ 4 million Americans have received a bonus.
✓ 6.6 million jobs were open as of May 2018.
✓ 90% of Americans have bigger paychecks.
✓ 102 utility companies have lowered their prices in 48 states -- including Texas!

...and these are just a handful of the benefits pouring in as the result of tax cuts. There is still much work to be done, but I am pleased that our efforts are improving the lives of everyday Americans.

The GOP Doctor's Caucus met recently with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar. This was a very productive conversation as we discussed several key ongoing initiatives that will help improve the lives of Americans and fix our broken health care system.
