Honoring the 76th Anniversary of D-Day
Last year, I traveled to France on a Congressional Delegation trip to pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Yesterday, on the 76th anniversary, I remembered back on that most solemn experience. I’ll never forget meeting with numerous veterans of D-Day, walking along the beaches of Normandy, peering inside German pillboxes, or visiting the graves of the nearly 10,000 soldiers who paid the ultimate price defending our liberty on June 6, 1944. It was an absolute honor to tread on such hallowed ground where so many heroes fell.
I remain incredibly proud to be an American and am extremely grateful to those who have fought and died to ensure that our country, and its people, remain free.

China Destroys Autonomy of Hong Kong
China continues to pass laws that severely abuse the human rights of those in Hong Kong – destroying the region's autonomy. Not only has the People's Republic of China (PRC) unleashed COVID-19 on the world, they are also one of the biggest threats to freedom and liberty.

Welcoming American Astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to the ISS
Seeing last Saturday’s SpaceX launch was a remarkable experience – especially considering the years I have been advocating for the Commercial Crew Program. On Sunday, I had the opportunity to join NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, Johnson Space Center (JSC) Director Mark Geyer, Senator Ted Cruz, and others at the Mission Control room at JSC in Houston to welcome astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to the International Space Station (ISS).

I asked them about their journey to the ISS and how the ride on the Crew Dragon compared to the Space Shuttle – click the video below to hear their answer.

Ensuring CARES Act Funds Never Support Illegal Immigration
More than 40 million Americans are out of work. It's unjust to even think about giving taxpayer dollars to those here illegally! I'm proud to cosponsor Congressman Ken Buck's bill to ensure CARES Act funds are never used to support illegal immigration.

Democrats Introduce Another Liberal Messaging Bill
Here we go again – another Democrat messaging bill. Our crumbling roads and infrastructure affect every American every day, yet this 900-page bill has ZERO input from the GOP, is a liberal agenda wish list, and will not become law. I'm tired of their games.

 May Brought Huge Job Gains
Economists and media naysayers forecasted a loss of 7.5 million jobs in May – but they were wrong. Instead, the country added 2.5 million jobs back to the market as the nation continues to safely reopen.

Governor Andrew Cuomo Insults the ONLY Person Who Has Helped Him
President Trump's done nothing BUT send/offer help to New York. Anyone remember the USNS Comfort? Governor Cuomo continues to cast insults at the ONLY person who's bent over backwards to help keep his citizens safe – when he didn't have the means to do so.

CBP Seizes Nearly $2M in Methamphetamine

Honoring the 76th Anniversary of D-Day (cont'd)
Seventy-six years ago, yesterday, the “Day of Days” commenced as the U.S. launched the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare, preceded by an airborne assault, along the beaches of Normandy, France. As Operation Neptune unfolded, thousands of American and Allied troops courageously took to the beaches to fight – willing to sacrifice all – for freedom. Only those who experienced it can truly fathom the bravery displayed by so many on D-Day as Allied forces victoriously took Normandy and turned the tide of the war. Eventually, this led to the liberation of Europe and the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Yesterday, I hope you all joined me in remembering and thanking the heroes who stormed the beaches, piloted the planes, parachuted behind enemy lines, operated the thousands of ships, and fought valiantly to preserve the freedoms we cherish every single day. The weight of this sacrifice is as heavy now as it was in 1944. While the liberation of Europe came at a high price, it is a price America has always been willing to pay in the protection of freedom.

“The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you.” – General Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1944

President Trump Suspends Entry of Certain Chinese Students and Researchers
Communist China's attempting to use certain Chinese post-graduate students and post-doctorate researchers to steal tech and intellectual property from the U.S. This cannot happen. I'm grateful President Trump is putting safeguards in place to protect this nation.

President Trump Continues to Lead the Nation
In the midst of covid and chaos, President Trump continues to calmly and bravely lead our country. On Monday, the President visited 200-year-old St. John’s Church in D.C. – walking through some of the very protesters who attempted to burn down the historic landmark the previous night. George Floyd deserves justice, but violence and destroying property is not the way to achieve that goal. Hold police AND rioters accountable for crimes committed.

The Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act Is Now Law
President Trump has signed the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act into law – a bill that will provide necessary leniency to small businesses trying to maneuver and comply with the changing rules that come with each new phase of reopening the U.S. economy. We must continue to take care of our small businesses!

The Chaos Must End
Setting fire to an occupied building, blocking firefighters from being able to put that fire out, and endangering the lives of innocent children does nothing to honor the memory or bring justice to George Floyd. This chaos must stop NOW.

America Should Never Rely on China Again
America should rely on China for NOTHING – from essential medical supplies to the mining of critical minerals. This pandemic has clearly shown us the consequence of trusting this communist regime. I say NO MORE.

For #FlashbackFriday, I shared my speech from last May showing what could happen if we ever got rid of this essential law.

 Holding Chinese Companies Accountable
America is the financial capital of the world. Chinese businesses are among many worldwide who list their firms on the U.S. stock exchange. China likes to reap the benefits of our system yet refuses to play by our rules. President Trump is working diligently to correct this.
