 I’m thankful to have a President who deems faith essential. I pray all Americans are allowed to go back to church and their houses of worship ASAP.

America’s agriculture industry has been tremendously important during these unprecedented times. Our farmers and ranchers have been working relentlessly over the past several months to ensure grocery stores remain stocked and Americans continue to have food on their tables – but we must remember that this pandemic has negatively impacted parts of the agriculture sector as well.

Thanks to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, the new Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) will provide much needed relief for this vital industry.

Americans Must Get Back to Work
The job market will recover, but for that to happen Americans must get back to work. If not, these numbers will get worse. This temporary lockdown can’t be made permanent.

 California Gives Millions in COVID-19 Relief Funds to Illegal Aliens
 California has one the largest homeless populations in the country, yet they’ve chosen to give millions of dollars of COVID-19 relief money to illegal aliens rather than help American citizens. I’ll never understand that decision.

Thanking President Trump for Holding the WHO Accountable
I joined the GOP Docs Caucus in thanking President Trump for withholding U.S. funds from the WHO due to their failure to prevent China from spreading misinformation and lack of COVID-19 response. Leadership changes must take place before any more tax dollars go to this organization.

 On Monday, Governor Greg Abbott announced Phase II of the reopening of Texas's economy. The Governor's doing a great job keeping safety the top priority as businesses continue to resume operations and Texans return to work.
