Donald Trump Acquitted Again
|
Yesterday's acquittal of Donald J. Trump was a victory for the Constitution and another defeat for those engaged in the permanent effort to destroy him before, during, and now, after four years of historic, successful policies that benefited the American people.
This impeachment trial never should have even taken place. It was wholly unconstitutional and somehow even more devoid of due process than the first ridiculous impeachment trial in 2020. Democrats have once again wasted our tax dollars and time on a sham impeachment because they hate Donald Trump, and to say this trial was pushed by anything other than that hate is a complete falsehood. They tried to take him down before he was sworn in as president and, along with their partners in the media and Big Tech, have now made it their top priority to do the same after he has left office.
The Left’s relentless obsession with destroying this man continues to divide our nation, but they clearly do not care. It was shameful to see such a sacred democratic process used as a political weapon, and especially to see a handful of Republican Senators and Representatives who went along with it after four years of taking credit for the accomplishments of President Trump and the conservative movement.
It is past time for Democrats to put an end to their divisive infatuation with ruining Donald Trump’s life and finally allow Congress to get back to working for the American people. |
