I do not support taxpayer-funded Congressional junkets to Israel’s nemesis, especially one led by an avowed opponent of Israel. To prevent recklessly endangering our relationship with Israel, I call on my colleagues to reject any official Congressional request to visit Palestine.

Let me get this straight. Speaker Pelosi is keeping the House in session next week for more show votes, but she doesn’t even plan to be here? Instead of playing more political games and globetrotting using military resources, Pelosi should stay in Washington and finally begin work to negotiate an agreement to reopen the government and secure our border. There are 800,000 furloughed American workers who want a compromise, but it takes two to tango. Thank you President Trump for your efforts to bring Democrats to the table.

Meeting with the Secretary of Air Force

I had a great meeting with the Secretary of the Air Force, Heather Wilson (pictured to my right), along with several other Air Force leaders, to discuss space and other issues important to them in the new year.
As an Air Force veteran myself, I am proud to work to ensure our youngest military branch remains the global leader in the air, space, and cyberspace. Fly, Fight, and Win - Air Force!

Wednesday was Religious Freedom Day, a time to celebrate a fundamental human right that is essential to a free society. I am thankful for the many liberties we have as Americans, one being the ability to exercise religious faith freely. I pray, as a Christian, that we always defend an individual’s right to live according to their faith and convictions without fear of persecution.
