President-elect Donald J. Trump has proposed a bold agenda for the first 100 days of his presidency. I am in strong agreement with much of the agenda he set forth in early November, which includes ethics reform, immigration enforcement, energy independence, tax simplification and much more. As Congress begins consideration of his agenda, I believe it is important to understand your views on these important issues. Please take two minutes to provide me your thoughts by clicking here. 1. Lift government roadblocks to allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward. 2. Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. 3. Cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities and begin removing criminal illegal immigrants. 4. Fully repeal Obamacare and replace it with a plan that restores health care freedom, including Health Savings Accounts and the ability to purchase insurance across state lines 5. Withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement. 6. Put a five year-ban on White House and Congressional officials from becoming lobbyists after they leave government service. 7. Repeal all unconstitutional executive actions, memorandums and orders. 8. Cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America’s water and environmental infrastructure. 9. Place a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce the federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health). 10. Pass massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. 11. Expand military investment and provide veterans with the ability to attend the private doctor of their choice. 12. Allow Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes and incentivize employers to provide on-side childcare services. 13. Renegotiate or withdrawal from the NAFTA trade agreement. 14. Redirect education dollars so that parents have the right to send their child to the school of their choice while ending common core and expanding vocational and technical education. 15. Increase funding for programs that train and assist local police. |
