The White House just announced that President Trump is planning to deploy the National Guard to the southern border as a response to the increased threat of illegal immigrants, drugs and crime flowing in from Central America.  

I stand behind the President’s commitment to securing our borders.  For far too long, Washington has neglected border security and Americans have born the cost.
