Dear Friend, Residents of Liberty County who suffered damage during the April floods can now register for FEMA assistance. To register, you can go online at DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-3362 (FEMA). The toll-free lines are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time, seven days a week. Disaster assistance for homeowners and renters may include grants to help pay for temporary housing and essential home repairs, as well as other serious disaster-related needs such as medical and dental expenses.
