Dear Friend,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas this week, and were able to visit with your friends and loved ones as we all celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As the father of five and grandfather of fourteen, Christmas fills our household with so much joy. I pray that God blesses you and your family with a safe and Happy New Year.


As the new year approaches, House Republicans will start the new session of Congress as the minority. I have not forgotten that I was sent to Washington to promote and secure the personal and economic security of our citizens. To do that, we must pursue policies to ensure the integrity of our borders, and we must build the wall! I will not stop fighting for the good people of Texas.

I hope everyone has a blessed start to the new year, and it is an honor to represent the great men and women of the 36th Congressional District of Texas.
