Dear Friend,

Today, as we join together with our family and friends, let us give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed upon us.

As a nation, we are truly blessed. While we certainly face many challenges and difficulties, we must always recognize and appreciate the freedoms, liberties, and opportunities we have because we live in the United States of America.

Although the focus in Washington remains on what seems to be a never-ending witch hunt to impeach President Trump, I promise to keep fighting for the many issues that impact each of your lives daily.

An unsecured southern border continues to threaten our nation’s sovereignty, prescription drug costs are entirely too high, and the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement or USMCA – which will replace the outdated NAFTA trade agreement – is still waiting to be passed by Congress.

These are just a few of the many pressing issues that have yet to be addressed by the Democrat majority in the House. There is a lot of work to be done, and it is past time we get back to it.

As your representative, I remain committed to working with President Trump to advance the Texas values that we all hold so dear. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to serve you in the U.S. Congress and help make America a stronger, more secure, and prosperous place.

On this day of thanks, let us not forget to thank the men and women of our Armed Forces. We pray for their safety and all those who defend our country.

I truly hope you and yours have a joyous Thanksgiving holiday surrounded by the ones you love most, and may God continue to bless you all.
